Special interest in complex and difficult cases involving scientific, technical, and construction matters.
Representation for project owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, heavy and highway contractors, underground and excavation contractors, suppliers, product manufacturers, installers, and insurers. Private and public projects.
Construction services include lien law, bonding issues, problem project resolution, risk management, building defects, changed conditions, warranty claims, negotiation, contract and document review and preparation, payment issues, liability avoidance counseling, delay claims, change order issues, design build, industry standard contracts (ConsensusDOCS, DBIA, AIA, AGC, and EJCDC), insurance, errors and omissions, bidding disputes, and education and training programs.
Mediation and arbitration services are provided. Alternative dispute resolution training obtained through American Arbitration Association, American Bar Association, and Marquette University Graduate School Dispute Resolution Program. Experience obtained through serving as an advocate in mediation and arbitration proceedings and through serving as a mediator and arbitrator.
